(12hr.) shifts (6a-6p, 6p-6a) Seven days a week.

Duties and responsibilities:

Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures. Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, elevator emergency, and hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

Must be an active certified Illinois Police Officer or Law Enforcement Officer, in good standing with employed Department(s) Must be able to provide (VE-PEC) verification of employment as Peace Officer documentation from employed Department(s) Must have ability to maintain composure when dealing with unusual circumstances. Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone). Must have reliable transportation Working conditions: Some sites consist of outdoor post that may involve working in inclement weather conditions.

Physical requirements:

Standing and Walking for extended periods of time. Must be physically capable of lifting, pushing and or pulling at least 50lbs. Accommodate foot patrols on the interior & exterior of the assigned facilities.
