Job Description

The Department of Public Safety at the University of Southern Maine is hiring! Join our team as a Police Specialist . Starting rates are noted below, plus there are shift and specialty differentials when applicable. Prior to July 1: $36.32 per hour After July 1: $37.41 per hour Police Specialists perform duties similar to a Police Officer, including law enforcement, community policing, solving complex community/campus problems, and security service delivery, plus they have specialist responsibilities involving leading the department's investigatory processes and providing subject matter expertise. Police Specialists report to the shift sergeant. Required Qualifications:
