Job Description
The City of Blaine Police Department is seeking highly qualified, service-oriented candidates for the position of Police Officer. We serve a rapidly growing community of more than 70,000 residents and are committed to proactive policing, professional excellence, and strong community partnerships. The Blaine Police Department is a progressive, community-focused agency that upholds high standards in all aspects of law enforcement. Our officers are supported with modern, high-quality equipment and extensive training designed to promote safety, effectiveness, and career development. Minimum Requirements
- Must meet Minnesota POST Board licensing requirements (or be eligible) by October 1, 2026.
- Successful determination of no POST Board "Standards of Conduct" violations. Desirable Requirements
- Proficiency in a second language, preferably Spanish, Hmong, Arabic or Sign Language.
- One year of experience in law enforcement, either a sworn, non-sworn, or volunteer position.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
