Job Description

•The Brooklyn Center Police Department is looking for experienced Police Officers• The Brooklyn Center Police Department is seeking experienced Police Officers to serve a vibrant, diverse community in a police agency that values professional development. Join our team if you have been a police officer for at least one year and have a current POST license in good standing. Eligible officers will receive compensation based on the LELS Local 82 pay scale, reflecting their prior sworn law enforcement experience. This position is responsible for the handling of law enforcement activity including, but not limited to, responding to calls for service, assigned tasks and details, and self-initiated contacts, works directly with citizens, assists in resolving problems/conflicts, represents the City with a courteous, helpful and professional manner. Reports to police sergeant or assigned supervisor.
