Job Description

Join a forward-thinking police department growing to 30 sworn officers, where your career can go beyond the patrol car. Officers work 12-hour shifts (6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM) with every other weekend off, offering a consistent and balanced schedule. We prioritize career growth and specialized opportunities, including grant-funded TZD traffic enforcement, SWAT (tactical and negotiator roles), investigations, and participation in the county Violence Crime Enforcement Team (VCET). Officers can also become training instructors (firearms, defensive tactics, FTO), serve as Reserve Coordinator, or join our Community Engagement Team—leading creative social media and outreach initiatives.
