Starting salary $67,164.00 ($32.29 per hour) Parkville has seen a lot of growth in the past five years. $5,000 Hiring incentive. Parkville voters recently passed a Public Safety tax. This has allowed for improvements in Department equipment, technology, shift differential, educational pay, hiring incentive plan, retirement improvements and increased base salaries. Higher pay for Lateral Officers, based on experience. Qualified applicants must be attending or have attended a Police Academy. The Department tattoo policy allows for visible tattoos on the arms. Tattoos on the face, head, neck and hands are not allowed.

Parkville is a suburban City located in the northwest portion of the Kansas City, Missouri Metropolitan area in Platte County. Parkville runs along the banks of the Missouri River for several miles. Parkville is connected by several Highways and one Interstate.
