Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Coahoma County School District is currently accepting applications for the position of School Resource Officer. The successful candidate will be a trained officer who is at least 23 years of age. This position is commissioned by Coahoma County School District and all applicants must have at least three years of full time law enforcement service and must be a graduate of the Basic Law Enforcement Officer Training Program. In addition, this individual must also complete the School Resource Officer Basic Course offered by the Mississippi Department of Education within 2 years of being hired. The officer hired will be assigned to the school district on a full time basis with the duties of school safety planning, enforcement, teaching, and mentoring.
