We are seeking Police Officers for the 2026 NC Mountain State Fair that begins on Friday, September 11, 2026, and ends on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Recruitment Range:

$40.00 - $50.00 Ability to act quickly and intelligently in emergency situations. Ability to communicate effectively through interpersonal interactions and written documentation. Necessary Special Qualifications:

Must complete all requirements for an NC Probationary Law Enforcement Certification, including completion of Basic Law Enforcement Training, in accordance with the provisions of the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission within one year of employment. Must be at least 20 years of age. Possession of a valid NC Driver's License.
