Certified Police Officer to help maintain public safety, protect people and property, prevent crime, and serve the community with professionalism and integrity. Responsibilities Patrol assigned areas Respond to emergencies, incidents, and calls for service. Investigate crimes, gather evidence, and prepare reports. Enforce laws, ordinances, and traffic regulations. Build positive relationships with community members. Work cooperatively with other emergency service agencies. Testify in court when required. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications New York State Police Officer Certification Valid MPTC Basic Course Certification Knowledge of law enforcement principles and procedures. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment under pressure. High level of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism. Valid driver's license required. Must successfully pass required background, medical, and other pre-employment screenings.
