Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Police Officer and become a vital part of maintaining safety, security, and order within our community. Duties Conduct regular patrols of neighborhoods, public spaces, and designated facilities to deter criminal activity and ensure safety. Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, disturbances, and reports of suspicious activity. Investigate incidents thoroughly by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and documenting findings accurately through detailed report writing. Enforce laws and regulations related to criminal investigation, traffic control, immigration law compliance, and loss prevention. Engage with community members to build trust, provide assistance, and promote crime prevention initiatives. Utilize surveillance technology to monitor high-risk areas and identify potential threats or violations. Manage conflict situations effectively through conflict management skills while maintaining professionalism and calmness under pressure. Provide first aid or CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals until medical professionals arrive. Handle animals responsibly by ensuring animal care standards are met during investigations or incidents involving animals. Maintain accurate records of patrol activities, incident reports, and law enforcement actions for accountability and future reference. Qualifications Proven experience in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of criminal investigation techniques, report writing standards, and legal procedures including immigration law. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to guide colleagues and manage challenging situations confidently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; proficiency in driving emergency vehicles preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as surveillance or security training are advantageous. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with the public, colleagues, and emergency responders. Ability to handle animals responsibly when required; experience in animal handling is a plus. Physical fitness to perform patrol duties that involve standing, walking long distances, or physical exertion over extended periods. $40,768.00 - $49,920.00 per year
