//www.ohsu.edu/ The Department of Public Safety (DPS) OHSU Police Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the OHSU community, including all OHSU members, patients, and visitors, as well as all OHSU resources, facilities, and property within the Officer's assigned area(s) of responsibility. The OHSU Police Officer may carry out these duties under the direct supervision of the shift Operations Lieutenant, shift Sergeant, or other DPS management, but will also be capable of effectively carrying out these responsibilities with minimal or no direct supervision, when necessary.
