A Transit police Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of Port Authority customers, staff, and property throughout the aeras it serves. officers must enforce all local, state, and federal laws on and around our transit system.
Transit Police Officer Salary Progression:
Year one
  • $71,404.20 (75% rate) Year two
  • $80,924.75 (85%) Year three
  • $95,205.
60 (100% Base rate) Master Patrol $98,061.77 (9+years 3% above base)
Position Benefits:
