S. citizen and meet one of the following criteria: An Associate's degree or at least 60 college credits from an accredited college or university (C average or better), or At least two years active duty in the United States military with an honorable discharge, plus a high school diploma or GED, or At least two years of service as a full-time paid peace officer, plus a high school diploma or GED, or At least two years of continuous work experience for a local, state or federal government employer, or at least two years of experience as an emergency first-responder.
  • Possess a valid drivers license
  • No felony or Class A misdemeanor convictions
  • No Class B misdemeanor convictions within the last 10 years
  • Not currently under indictment for any criminal offense
  • No convictions for a family violence offense
  • No marijuana use in the last 12 months
  • Must not have ever used a felony-level illicit drug (e.
g., cocaine, PCP, LSD, ecstasy, methamphetamine, GHB, etc.)
