Eligibility for benefits may vary by location and is determined by employment status Job Summary This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus Manages the daily security operations of the assigned facilities security program. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in law enforcement, security management, criminal justice, or a discipline requiring high levels of communication and analytical skill; or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION
MINIMUM
EXPERIENCE
5 years in law enforcement/security or 10 years in law enforcement/security field in lieu of college degree.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE
As required by the state; Valid state driver's license. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) within 60 days of employment or transfer date into the department. Renewal is required every 2 years.
