Full Job Description Recruit:

$69,813.88 + benefits (while attending Police Academy)

Upon Police Academy Graduation:

$86,499.40 + benefits

• Recruit and Lateral Officers are eligible for a $10,000 HIRING

INCENTIVE!

Lateral Officer 50% When Hired 50% After Successful Completion of FTO Program New Hire (Recruit) 50% When Hired 25% After Police Academy Graduate; 25% After Successful Completion of FTO Program Employees who receive the hiring incentive and voluntarily leave City employment prior to their third hire anniversary will be required to pay back the incentive.

Testing Dates & Schedule Written Test :

By invitation only. April 20, 2026 (casual/workout attire)

Physical Agility Test :

April 20, 2026; immediately following the written exam for testers who receive a score of 70% or higher (casual/workout attire) Click here to watch

Physical Agility Course Interactive Video Simulation Exercise & Panel Interview :

Those who pass the written exam and physical agility test will move on and be scheduled for an interactive video simulation exercise and panel interview. These will begin the afternoon of April 20th and run through the rest of the week, as needed. Priority will be given to those traveling from out of state.
