Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents, providing immediate assistance and ensuring public safety. Conduct criminal investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and documenting findings through detailed report writing. Enforce laws and ordinances related to traffic control, public order, and criminal activity while maintaining a respectful demeanor. Perform surveillance activities to monitor suspicious behavior or criminal activity using various techniques and tools. Engage in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations with effective communication and negotiation skills. Assist with first aid and CPR when needed, providing critical medical support until emergency services arrive. Maintain accurate records of incidents, arrests, and investigations; prepare comprehensive reports for legal proceedings. Drive patrol vehicles safely across designated areas to deter crime and provide visibility within the community. Handle animals when necessary, including animal control duties or assisting with animal-related incidents. Stay informed about immigration laws, loss prevention strategies, security protocols, and law enforcement best practices to ensure effective policing. Maintain a safe educational environment throughout our facilities. Build positive relationships with students,staff,and parents. Qualifications Proven experience or background in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly desirable. School-based police experience Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate police vehicles confidently. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. Knowledge of criminal investigation techniques, surveillance methods, and report writing standards. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. Experience working with youth
