Job Description
- Job Overview
- We are seeking a Criminal Defense Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Criminal law and a passion for providing high-quality legal services. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters and grow within a dynamic law firm environment. We are looking for someone located in either Scottsdale, AZ or Lake Havasu City, AZ.
- Duties
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts
- Assist in preparing for trials and hearings
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other attorneys
- Review and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses
- Handle a caseload independently under the supervision of senior attorneys
- Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to The Arizona State Bar Association
- Strong knowledge of Criminal and/or Family Law
- Proficiency in conducting legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
