Job Description

My client is hiring an Associate Attorney (1-4 YOE)- local to Phoenix. They're office is downtown. They are an insurance defense firm, that has a tons of cases in complex civil litigation, construction, and personal injury matters. The ideal candidate has insurance defense experience. You must live in Arizona and be admitted to the bar in Arizona.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Case evaluation, recommendation, and support. Communicate with client and counsel. Propound and respond to discovery. Perform legal research and draft memoranda. Draft complaints, motions, and other pleadings and documents. Prepare for, take, and defend depositions. Prepare for and attend court hearings. Prepare for and attend mediation. Provide excellent service to all clients.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be in good standing with the Arizona State Bar. Strong research and writing skills. Ability to work independently and to multitask while demonstrating strong attention to detail. Experience with depositions, motions and court hearings are required. Strong communication and time management skills. Believe in being a team player.
