Job Description
Job Overview:
- We are a boutique law firm servicing long-term care providers with business litigation and collections litigation. We are seeking an associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in civil litigation.
Duties:
- Represent clients in court
- Legal research and analysis
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Provide legal advice to clients on various matters
- Attend depositions and mediations
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
Skills:
- Proficiency in all aspects of civil litigation
- Ability to litigate cases effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with LexisNexis
- At least 2 years' experience litigating cases
