In this role, you will play a vital part in managing a diverse range of immigration cases, providing expert legal guidance, and ensuring compliance with federal and state immigration laws. Your energetic approach and meticulous attention to detail will help clients navigate complex immigration processes confidently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal expertise while making a meaningful impact on our clients' lives. The ideal candidate will bring strong research, writing, and court experience along with a passion for advocacy and client service. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of immigration matters, including visa applications, green card petitions, asylum claims, and deportation defense. Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and stay current on evolving immigration laws and policies. Draft clear, persuasive legal documents such as petitions, affidavits, motions, and correspondence. Advise clients on immigration options, eligibility requirements, and procedural steps while maintaining transparent communication throughout the process. Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases Assist with legal administrative tasks including case management, document review, and maintaining accurate records in our law office systems. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required. Prior experience practicing immigration law is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in legal research tools like Westlaw and LexisNexis. Strong writing skills with the ability to produce precise legal drafting. Ability to advocate effectively for clients in high-stakes situations. Experience handling litigation or administrative hearings is advantageous.
