  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable attorney to join our legal team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, especially criminal, restraining orders, family, and civil litigation. Experience in a specific practice area is not required, but the candidate must be willing to learn. This role requires excellent legal research skills, proficiency in using legal tools such as Westlaw, and the ability to write clear and persuasive legal documents. The Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in legal proceedings, providing legal advice, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various cases and issues. Draft, review, and file legal documents including wills, trusts, pleadings, motions, and briefs. Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings. Provide sound legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations. Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas. Manage case files efficiently within the law office environment. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar association. Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw. Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear and concise legal documents. Previous experience in a law office setting is advantageous. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
