Job Description

Employment Litigation Attorney A well-established California law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Attorney to join its growing San Diego office. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated employment matters in a collaborative environment while building strong client relationships and taking an active role in litigation strategy. The firm represents employers in a broad range of employment disputes and counseling matters. Attorneys are given meaningful responsibility, direct client contact, and the opportunity to manage cases from inception through resolution. Responsibilities Manage employment litigation matters through all phases of litigation Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal filings Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses Handle written discovery and take or defend depositions Attend mediations, settlement conferences, hearings, and court appearances Advise clients on employment-related issues and litigation strategy Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts throughout the litigation process Collaborate with attorneys on complex employment matters and case strategy Qualifications Active California Bar license 3+ years of employment litigation experience Experience handling matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and related employment claims Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Experience taking and defending depositions preferred Ability to independently manage an active caseload while working collaboratively with a team Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer contribution Paid time off and paid holidays CLE and professional development support Partnership-track opportunities for qualified attorneys Why Consider This Opportunity? Salary:
$170,000 - $230,000
