As a part of our commercial litigation team, you'll help provide legal support for all our products and businesses. Working for a company that invents entire categories and industries means you'll be challenged to creatively apply your deep legal expertise to rare and often unexplored aspects of the law. We are looking for a senior litigator with great judgment, strategic vision, and a demonstrated ability to manage the day-to-day progress of complex litigation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has experience in handling artificial intelligence and machine learning and online safety advising and litigation with a focus on emerging issues, as well as product liability and consumer protection. This role requires a litigator with highly efficient time management skills, executive communication competencies, and the ability to strategically run litigation matters from beginning to end and across cross-functional teams. Description As a senior member of Apple's litigation team, you will not be merely monitoring outside counsel. Rather, you will personally be formulating and driving strategy as well as working with a number of cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all product areas. The position requires a high degree of self-sufficiency, independent judgment, collaborative communication skills, and a trial-focused approach. Travel is anticipated. You will operate as part of a supportive and fun team of lawyers, legal specialists and support staff who work closely together to protect Apple's interests. Preferred Qualifications Experience litigating and counseling artificial intelligence and machine learning, and online safety related disputes. Experience with litigation consultants and testifying experts; economic experts a plus. Strong technology interest and aptitude. Meaningful trial and/or arbitration experience. Excellent executive and collaborative communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills are essential. Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of consumer class action or mass tort litigation experience at a major law firm and/or in-house JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $267,200 and $400,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
