Job Description

Family Law Paralegal — The Pollard Firm, APC Who We Are The Pollard Firm is a Southern California family law and personal injury practice built on aggressive advocacy and genuine client care. We handle dissolutions, custody disputes, support matters, and parentage cases across Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles County — real cases with real stakes. We move fast, we prepare thoroughly, and we expect the same from everyone on our team. The Role We're looking for an experienced family law paralegal who doesn't need to be managed. You know how California family courts work. You can take a new matter, assess what needs to happen, and make it happen — without waiting to be told. If you thrive in a high-responsibility environment where your work directly shapes outcomes for clients, read on. What You'll Do Draft and finalize pleadings, RFOs, declarations, discovery, and correspondence from inception to filing-ready Manage case files and deadlines with precision — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch Conduct legal research on California family law statutes and case law to support litigation strategy Interface with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff professionally and efficiently Keep cases moving: calendaring, court filings, document management, and status tracking What We're Looking For Meaningful family law experience — you've worked California family court matters and know the rhythm of dissolution, custody, and support cases Proficiency with Clio or comparable case management software Strong drafting skills — you can produce a clean declaration or meet-and-confer letter without heavy attorney revision The ability to prioritize and execute independently across multiple active matters Discretion, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to client service Experience in personal injury is a plus but not required. Why Join Us This is a real paralegal role — not administrative support with a paralegal title. You'll work directly with the attorney on substantive matters, handle meaningful responsibility from day one, and be valued for the expertise you bring. We invest in people who invest in their work.
Pay:
