Associate Attorney (1 - 3 yr) Career Consulting Partners Glendale, CA Job Details $110,000 - $140,000 a year 11 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Writing skills Employment law Employment law case experience Research Doctor of Law (JD) Bar Full Job Description Associate Attorney Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a boutique plaintiff civil litigation firm near the Glendale Galleria. We are looking for an employment law attorney who is eager to learn, dedicated, and committed to building a long-term career in employment litigation. This is not a position where you will be handed a caseload and left to figure things out on your own. You will be assigned to cases (as all of our litigation attorneys are) and will work under the direct involvement and direction of a senior attorney who will train you through every stage of the litigation process.
Our goal is simple:
to invest in someone driven, train them thoroughly over the next three years, and develop them into a confident attorney capable of handling their own caseload with minimal supervision.
Duties:
Work directly with the supervising partner on assigned employment litigation matters. Review case documents and develop a strong factual command of each file. Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission. Handle discovery motion work, including drafting motions to compel and related briefing. Participate in case strategy under the direct mentorship of the supervising partner. Grow steadily over a three-year horizon toward managing matters independently.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the California State Bar. 1 - 3 years of labor and employment litigation experience as an attorney Someone genuinely dedicated to their craft and committed to growing within the firm. Strong writing, research, and analytical skills. A coachable, driven, and detail-oriented mindset — someone who welcomes close mentorship. Professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Benefits & Compensation:
Compensation Range:
$110,000 - $140,000 401k w/ Match PTO, Holiday, Health Insurance Direct, hands-on training from a senior employment litigator on every case you touch. A clear three-year development path designed to build you into a self-sufficient attorney. Meaningful, substantive work from day one — not document review in isolation. A firm culture where attorneys are supported, not left to sink or swim.
Location:
Glendale, CA Near the Glendale Galleria Please note that we at Career Consulting Partners will be sure to keep your information private. We will not submit you or your information to any firm without your consent. Once we have received your resume/application, we will reach out to you and review the firm(s) before we move forward.
