Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Entry-Level Personal Injury Attorney to join our plaintiff-side personal injury law firm. The ideal candidate will assist clients throughout the personal injury claim process, develop litigation skills, and work closely with experienced attorneys, paralegals, and case managers. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed attorney to gain hands-on experience handling personal injury matters from initial consultation through settlement, arbitration, and litigation. Responsibilities Manage and assist with personal injury cases from intake through resolution. Represent clients in personal injury matters, including settlement negotiations and litigation. Communicate with clients regarding case status, medical treatment, and legal strategy. Review and analyze police reports, medical records, medical bills, insurance policies, and liability issues. Conduct legal research regarding personal injury claims and California laws. Prepare and draft legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence. Conduct case investigations and develop legal strategies. Negotiate with insurance adjusters, defense counsel, and opposing parties. Assist with settlement negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation. Participate in court appearances, depositions, settlement conferences, and hearings. Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial-related matters. Maintain accurate case files, deadlines, and client communications. Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active California Bar license required (or pending admission for entry-level candidates). Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Professional, dependable, and client-focused attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Prior internship, externship, or experience in personal injury, insurance, or civil litigation. Experience with legal case management software. Spanish-speaking ability is a plus. Deposition, negotiation, or courtroom experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
