Associate Attorney - Immigration Law Nasseri Law Group, a boutique immigration firm dedicated to defending and protecting the rights of immigrants, is seeking a skilled and motivated attorney to join our practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly alongside our lead attorney, who brings 27 years of experience, in a supportive and collaborative office environment. Position Overview The successful candidate will represent clients in removal and other proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR). This role combines courtroom advocacy, legal writing, and direct client engagement in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting. Key Responsibilities
  • Make appearances before the EOIR on behalf of clients
  • Prepare persuasive legal arguments in briefs and motions
  • Conduct thorough legal research and writing
  • Collaborate closely with our EOIR paralegal to prepare and manage cases
  • Meet and consult with clients regularly in the office, providing attentive and responsive representation Qualifications
  • Active license to practice law and in good standing with the bar of any U.S. state (California admission is not required; immigration practice before the EOIR is authorized for attorneys licensed in any state)
  • Fluency in Spanish — speaking and writing — is required
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to client service and to advancing immigrant rights Compensation Salary commensurate with experience, starting at $110,000 and up.
Important Details This is a full-time, on-site position at our Hawthorne, California office. It is not a remote role. The attorney will work directly with clients and the lead attorney in person.
