Job Description Job Description Practice Areas:
Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, Workers' Compensation, General Liability We are a dynamic litigation defense firm with a strong reputation for representing clients in the amusement and retail industries, many of whom are self-insured. Our team is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with experience in Civil Litigation and General Liability matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of litigation including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials throughout California Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda Work directly with clients and adjusters, maintaining strong, communicative relationships Collaborate with senior attorneys while also managing cases independently
Qualifications:
Active Member of the California State Bar or in process 2+ years of experience in personal injury OR workers' compensation litigation Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills Experience with case management software and legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw) Ability to handle a fast-paced caseload with a high level of autonomy and attention to detail A strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
