Personal Injury Negotiator About RMD Law LLP:
RMD Law is a fast-growing personal injury law firm in Orange County with an exciting and modern professional dynamic.

We are seeking a Personal Injury Negotiator to join our team. Candidate must be highly organized and a self-starter who has experience working in a fast-paced firm focusing on plaintiff's personal injury matters. Candidate needs to be ready to hit the ground running.
Essential Job Functions include:
Negotiate Settlements:
Use your negotiation skills to communicate with insurance adjusters and defense counsel in pursuit of maximum compensation for our clients. You'll be extracting maximum value and fighting for justice every day. Collaborate with
Team:
Work closely with attorneys, case managers, and legal assistants to gather records, investigate claims, assess liability and damages, and prepare compelling demand packages. Successfully complete lien reductions for settled matters. Negotiate reductions with medical providers, hospitals, health insurance carriers, and lienholders Support in verifying and tracking all outstanding medical liens, bills, and case-related costs. Prepare settlement distribution with a breakdowns of fees, costs, liens, and net settlement. Assist in issuing provider payments and client settlement checks. Maintain accurate records and ensure all disbursement documentation is complete. Maintain all updates to a case in case management software.
Skills:
You must be organized Strong negotiation and communication skills You must be focused and pay close attention to detail You must be able to multi-task and manage time efficiently and effectively You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a high volume of cases Strong understanding of liability, case value, and mechanism of injury
Minimum Qualifications:
1-2 years of personal injury experience required Prior negotiation experience strongly preferred
Bachelors Degree Compensation:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 depending on experience and skill Full time; M-F in office M/D/V Insurance 401k with matching
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
