) Premier Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Civil Litigation in Long Beach, California. An established firm with over 20 years in practice is seeking an Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This role is based in Long Beach, California and focuses on labor and employment defense litigation matters including case management, motion practice, and client representation. The position offers a collaborative environment with flexibility around billable expectations while rewarding productivity and business development.

- Draw 401k retirement plan Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 30% of collected billings attributable to the attorney with firm billing rates generally capped around $300
- 350 per hour 5% origination credit on business generated by the attorney Bonuses paid quarterly You are the master of your hours, OTE earnings for 1700 hours can be north of $250k Role can transition to hybrid Qualifications Active California Bar membership in good standing 5+ years of experience handling civil litigation matters Labor and Employment defense experience strongly preferred Ability to manage cases independently from inception through resolution Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills Interest in business development and long-term practice growth Responsibilities Handle a full caseload of civil litigation matters from pleadings through resolution Draft and argue motions, conduct discovery, and participate in depositions Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on case strategy Maintain accurate billing records and meet encouraged annual billable targets Develop and maintain client relationships and participate in business development efforts Benefits Growth Opportunity Flexible work schedule Bonus and upside incentives Discretionary bonus Medical/Dental/Vision 401K For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
