Eminent Domain Of Counsel Los Angeles, CA Full-TimeOn-Site$215,000 - $315,000 /yr Posted May 21, 2026 Established (40+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Eminent Domain Of Counsel (7+ Years) for Eminent Domain and Real Estate Litigation in San Diego, Los Angeles, or Oakland, CA An established California-based firm with over 40 years in practice is seeking an Eminent Domain Of Counsel with 7+ years of experience to join its Trial and Litigation group in a collaborative hybrid environment. This role focuses on eminent domain, real estate valuation disputes, and public entity land acquisition litigation, with meaningful responsibility for litigation strategy, motion practice, and trial preparation. The position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters alongside experienced litigators while contributing to a highly regarded statewide eminent domain practice.
Location:
San Diego, Los Angeles, or Oakland, CA Offer:

Qualifications:
7+ more years of experience handling eminent domain, real estate, or public entity land acquisition matters Strong background in complex civil litigation with an emphasis on valuation and damages issues Demonstrated ability to manage discovery, including taking and defending depositions Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Experience drafting and arguing motions in state and federal court Ability to work collaboratively across offices and litigation teams Interest in contributing to practice growth and maintaining high professional standards
Responsibilities:
Handle eminent domain matters from early case assessment through trial preparation Analyze valuation issues and work closely with experts and consultants Develop litigation strategy in coordination with trial teams and clients Draft court filings, dispositive and non-dispositive motions, and discovery responses Conduct and defend depositions and manage discovery processes Prepare cases for trial including evidence development and witness preparation For this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
