The candidate must have the ability to fully handle cases in a collaborative team environment, from inception to closure, inclusive of the preparation of initial pleadings, the conduct of subsequent discovery and law and motion and court appearances, and the preparation for, and conduct of, trials. The new team member must be able to deliver complete ready-to-file work product on briefs, motions, discovery, and court filings of every description. Candidate must be collegial self-starter, detail oriented, computer literate and willing to embrace technology and properly use it, with strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.
Responsibilities:
Case management and planning abilities, from start to finish, propound, and respond to written discovery, attend court hearings, and orally argue in court. Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and patiently assist and supervise less experienced colleagues, when necessary. Collaborate with our legal support staff to efficiently manage cases.
Qualifications:
California State Bar License (Required) Litigation experience minimum 7 years (Required) To apply: Cover Letter, Resume and at least two original writing samples (Required)
Pay:
$115,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
