Job Description:
A boutique California law firm is seeking a full-time Employment Litigation Attorney to join its team. The firm offers a collaborative, low-ego environment with a strong emphasis on maintaining a healthy work-life balance. About the
Role:
The practice is focused primarily on employment law matters, most often on the defense side, along with select related areas. This role is well-suited for an attorney who enjoys litigation, values strong writing, and is looking for a supportive, team-oriented culture.
Responsibilities:
Handle employment litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal filings Support and manage cases through all phases of litigation, with an emphasis on motion practice Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and client service Provide high-quality, ethical advocacy in representing clients
Qualifications:
1+ years of recent employment litigation experience Strong writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills Effective communication skills and attention to detail Client-focused, collaborative, and easy to work with Positive, grounded approach to work and team dynamics Active California Bar membership (must already be admitted)
Billable Expectations & Compensation:
Annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours Opportunity for additional compensation through extra billable hours, if desired and available Competitive compensation package and benefits
Work Arrangement:
