Job Description

Workers Compensation AttorneyLocation:
Rancho Mirage, CA (relocation can be provided for the right candidates)
Salary:
$140K-$180K base (salary depends on experience)Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Workers Compensation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will represent clients in workers compensation cases, providing expert legal advice and guidance throughout the claims process. The attorney will work to ensure clients receive the benefits they are entitled to while navigating complex legal and insurance issues.

Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in workers compensation cases and provide legal counsel throughout the claims process.

Review and analyze cases to determine the best course of action and legal strategy.

Negotiate with insurance companies to secure fair settlements for clients.

Prepare and file necessary legal documents, including claims, motions, and appeals.

Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to workers compensation and employment law.

Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals to facilitate case progression.

QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolCurrently admitted to a State Bar (good standing) or pending Bar resultsMinimum of 3 years of experience in workers compensation lawTrial experience a plusStrong negotiation and advocacy skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and meet deadlinesCandidates who fill out skills and questions move to the front of the application process!
