Advice Counsel (Municipal) Everforth - 3.6 Roseville, CA Job Details Full-time $130,000 - $180,000 a year 22 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Legal advocacy Tort law Writing skills Bar Full Job Description Advice Counsel (Municipal) Established (20+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Municipal Litigation Attorney or Advice Counsel for Municipal Law An established firm based in Roseville with over 20 years in practice is seeking a Municipal Litigation Attorney or Advice Counsel with 3+ years of experience to join their team. This Attorney will have experience with Municipal Law and Civil Litigation , ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters.
Offer:
Salary range: $130,000-$180,000, contingent on experience Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Professional development support
Qualifications:
Must be licensed to practice law in California. Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably with public entities. Strong writing and oral advocacy skills. Familiarity with government tort liability and municipal law.
Responsibilities:
Represent public entities in civil litigation matters including tort defense, land use, and constitutional claims. Advise municipalities on compliance with state and federal laws. Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. Appear in court and conduct depositions. Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop litigation strategies. For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
