Bilingual Family Partner Seneca Family of Agencies Overview Description Overview:
The Family Partner provides peer support to family members of clients receiving services from the SenecaWRAPAROUND
Program. The Family Partner is responsible for coordinating parent support activities and resources. The Family Partner works individually with family members to engage them in the process, increase their involvement, and assist them in maintaining stabilization. The Family Partner will perform a wide range of activities in order to function as a member of the supporting team as well as provide individual support to the caregivers.ABOUT WRAPAROUND
Seneca offers intensive "Wraparound" services to children and youth at risk of placement in a high-level group home, and to their families. The Wraparound programs are strengths-based, family-driven, flexible, and creative, with the goal of helping the family develop the skills and supports to prevent or reduce the possibility of residential placement of their child. A family-based team addresses the needs of the entire family, not just the at-risk child. This family-based team consists of family members, Seneca's Care Coordinators, Family Assistants, Family Partners, and other community members who have an important role in the family,Responsibilities:
Provide non-judgmental, unconditional support to children and families participating in the Seneca Center Programs. Serve a caseload of up to 10 families. Assist clinician in intake process, including assessment and collaboration. Act as a member of the Child and Family Team, designated as the individual support person to the parent or identified family member. Assist with coordinating and providing transportation for school, therapy, court hearings, or other pertinent treatment appointments/activities. Work in coordination with the birth/foster parents (or primary caregiver), Support Counselors, Family Support Facilitators and Community members to participate in all functions of the Child and Family Team, including planning meetings, assisting in designing treatment plans, assist in writing quarterly reports, and other casework duties as needed. Submit incident reports other necessary documentation in a timely and complete manner. Participate in supervision with the Clinical/Program Supervisor. Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork including, but not limited to, mental health notes, time sheets, petty cash, and mileage in a timely manner. Maintain professional behavior at all times, appropriately representing Seneca's mission and philosophy. Maintain a flexible schedule, which includes evenings and at least one weekend day per week.Qualifications:
Personal experience as a caregiver of a youth who has been the recipient of child welfare and/or behavioral health services required . Bilingual in Spanish required An Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred Experience or interest in working with families Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekend days Own a vehicle, California driver's license, and auto insurance Clear TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirements Ability to work as a team player and with a diverse population Good writing and organizational skillsCOVID-19

Full-time Monday•Friday 9:00 AM•5:30 PM Some flexibility around these hours, including weekends, requiredBenefits:
