Job Description
Legal Intern, Novo Holdings Novo Holdings is seeking an Intern to support the Legal team in its North American investment activities over the course of the summer and/or fall semester. www.novoholdings.dk The Job As a Legal Intern, you will undertake a range of substantive tasks to support the Legal team's strategic initiatives and the day-to-day operations of the organization.Your primary tasks will include:
Assisting with the preparation, review, and administration of legal documents, including NDAs, powers of attorney, and other standard agreements Supporting deal teams with ongoing investment opportunities and related portfolio company matters Analyzing transaction documents and preparing summaries of key deal terms and trends Maintaining legal templates, trackers, and internal know-how materials Organizing legal files and documentation The Legal team consists of 12 lawyers based across offices in Copenhagen, Boston, San Francisco and Singapore. You will have the opportunity to be part of a dedicated, international, ambitious, and connected team that is driven by values, respect, and appreciation for one another. The workload will be approximately 8-12 hours a week (at the Novo Holdings office in San Francisco) with flexibility in relation to your studies. Requirements Personal & Professional Qualifications We are looking for a candidate who: Has completed their first year of law school Has a good understanding of general contract law. Has a good understanding of corporate law, securities law and/or M&A is a plus but not a requirement. Has fluent communication skills in English - both written and verbal. Demonstrates excellent analytical skills with the right combination of overview and attention to detail. Works in a structured and independent manner - a highly motivated self-starter. Is a team player who wants to be a part of an international environment.
