We are looking for a motivated, energetic Litigation Attorney to manage a manageable and dedicated caseload of approximately 50 litigation files.
The Position:
We are looking for an Attorney with 1-3 years of experience who is ready to take the next step in their personal injury career and sharpen their trial and negotiation skills. We provide hands-on training and direct mentorship from partners, offering a platform to manage files independently while receiving the structural support you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities Litigation & Strategy:
Oversee approximately 50 PI litigation files from inception through resolution; identify key issues and determine winning strategies for settlement or trial.
Pleadings & Motions:
Draft and file court documents, including complaints, discovery motions, and other trial-related motions.
Discovery & Depositions:
Propound and respond to all forms of discovery (Form/Special Interrogatories, RFAs, RFPs); take and defend depositions of witnesses, parties, and experts.
Negotiation & Settlement:
Handle settlement offers and negotiate with opposing counsel to secure the best results for our clients.
Court & Appearance:
Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and mandatory settlement conferences (MSC).
Trial Preparation:
Prepare cases for trial by interviewing witnesses, conducting investigations, and acquiring evidence; draft motions in limine, witness lists, and exhibit lists.
Client Advocacy:
Educate clients on their legal rights, prepare them for mediations, and maintain high-level communication throughout the entire legal process.
Qualifications Licensure:
Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in California Civil Litigation. While Personal Injury experience is highly preferred, we prioritize a strong work ethic, a sharp legal mind, and a willingness to learn.
Bilingual Advantage:
Ability to communicate in Chinese is a plus but not required. Candidates should be comfortable working in a diverse, multicultural environment.

Technical Skills:
