Job Description

Insurance Defense Attorney A well-established litigation firm in Orange County is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join its growing practice in Irvine. This is an opportunity to work on a diverse caseload, collaborate with experienced litigators, and build a long-term career with a firm that values professional development and high-quality client service. Attorneys are entrusted with meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to handle cases from inception through resolution. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters through all phases of litigation Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents Conduct legal research and prepare case evaluations Take and defend depositions Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court appearances Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, experts, and opposing counsel Develop litigation strategies and manage case deadlines Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff to achieve successful client outcomes Qualifications Active California Bar license 3+ years of civil litigation experience Insurance defense experience preferred Experience handling depositions and court appearances Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills Ability to independently manage an active caseload while working in a team-oriented environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer contribution Paid time off and paid holidays CLE and professional development support Partnership-track opportunities for qualified attorneys Why Consider This Opportunity? Salary:
$165,000 - $235,000
