Location:

Newport Beach, CA — This is a primarily in-office role based in one of Southern California's premier professional markets. After 90 days, hybrid scheduling is available for attorneys who have settled into the team and caseload.

Note:

Candidates must hold an active California Bar license and have a minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience. Personal injury litigation experience is required or strongly preferred. Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Manage an active civil litigation caseload, including personal injury and construction defect matters, from intake through resolution Propound and respond to written discovery: interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses Draft and argue law and motion matters, including demurrers, motions for summary judgment, and other dispositive filings Appear in court for hearings, case management conferences, and other scheduled proceedings Communicate directly and professionally with clients to provide updates, set expectations, and maintain strong relationships Manage case timelines, deadlines, and litigation strategy with attention to detail and efficiency Collaborate with supervising attorneys and support staff to advance cases toward favorable resolution

QUALIFICATIONS

Active California Bar license (required) 3+ years of civil litigation experience (required) Personal injury litigation experience (required or strongly preferred) Construction defect litigation experience (preferred) Demonstrated experience with depositions, court appearances, written discovery, and law and motion Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple active matters independently while meeting deadlines Excellent client communication and relationship management skills

$110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
