Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Litigation Attorney with 1 to 3 years experience to join our legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing a diverse portfolio of litigation cases across multiple practice areas. Your expertise will support the firm's mission to deliver comprehensive legal solutions through rigorous research, strategic negotiation, and compelling legal drafting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your litigation skills while contributing to impactful legal outcomes for our clients. Duties Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, and other legal research tools to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity. Assist senior attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, depositions, and mediations by organizing case files and evidence. Manage discovery processes such as document review, interrogatories, and depositions to gather pertinent case information efficiently. Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to resolve disputes amicably or prepare for litigation proceedings. Maintain detailed case records and monitor deadlines using legal administrative systems to ensure timely filings. Support client communication by providing updates on case progress and answering inquiries professionally. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction(s). Demonstrated experience or strong interest in litigation across multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law. Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw. Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for case analysis and legal drafting. Effective negotiation skills coupled with the ability to advocate confidently on behalf of clients. Prior experience in a law office setting or legal administrative experience is preferred but not required.
