Job Description

Los Angeles, CA | On-Site | $120,000 - $200,000 + Benefits I am a private legal recruiter conducting a confidential search on behalf of a growing plaintiff-side employment law firm in Los Angeles with approximately 30 employees. The firm's identity will be disclosed to qualified candidates during the interview process. This firm has built a strong reputation for client advocacy, legal excellence, and successful outcomes in employment litigation matters. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an experienced Employment Attorney to join its team. Key Responsibilities Manage employment law matters from intake through settlement, arbitration, or trial. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents. Take and defend depositions. Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, mediations, and trial. Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies. Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations. Appear in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings. Advise clients regarding employment law rights and remedies. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active California Bar license in good standing. 5+ years of employment litigation experience preferred. Plaintiff-side employment litigation experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of California employment laws, including FEHA, PAGA, Wage & Hour, Labor Code, FMLA, and CFRA. Experience handling depositions, mediations, motion practice, and court appearances. Trial experience is a plus. Excellent legal writing, research, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload. Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package ranging from $120,000 to $200,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Comprehensive benefits package.
