Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our team full time. The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background and the ability to independently manage family law cases from start to finish, while also embracing a collaborative, team-based practice. This role involves direct client contact, strategic case planning, court appearances, and working closely with partners, paralegals, and staff. Key Responsibilities Manage and litigate family law matters including divorce, custody, visitation, and support Draft and review pleadings, declarations, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements Represent clients in hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials when needed Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel Develop case strategy and provide ongoing case analysis in collaboration with partners Supervise and coordinate with paralegals and administrative staff on case preparation Maintain organized, accurate case files and documentation Utilize Clio for case management, calendaring, and workflow tracking Engage in negotiations and settlement discussions with a professional, result-oriented approach Qualifications Active California State Bar license in good standing Minimum of 3 years of family law experience preferred Strong knowledge of California Family Code and local court rules Excellent written, verbal, and courtroom communication skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to manage cases independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Litigation experience and comfort with courtroom appearances strongly preferred Why Join Us Competitive salary of 120,000 to 180,000 based on experience Performance bonuses and profit sharing Supportive, positive, team-oriented work culture Family-first and drama-free environment Opportunities for professional growth, including expansion into criminal law or personal injury if desired Downtown Santa Rosa office with a growing, energized legal team How to Apply Please submit your resume, a brief cover letter, and any relevant writing samples.
