Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and licensing agreements. Partner with cross-functional teams to align commercial legal strategies with business objectives. Support compliance initiatives and risk management related to commercial matters. Contribute to a collaborative, high-impact team environment by taking ownership and proactively sharing expertise.

Must-Have Skills:

Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar admission in at least one U.S. state (CA preferred). Must have previous law firm experience. 7+ years of legal experience in a technology-focused environment. Proven in-house commercial counsel experience. Demonstrated initiative, drive, and strong work ethic in high-growth, fast-paced environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Background in artificial intelligence or emerging technologies. Experience building or scaling legal and business processes in startups or rapidly growing companies.
