Established in 1979, with one office and five attorneys, AALRR has grown to more than 300 attorneys in ten offices throughout California. We are seeking a highly motivated mid-level Litigation Associate with substantial experience in business litigation to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an associate seeking to accelerate their professional growth and take on a high level of responsibility. We offer a collaborative and fast-paced environment, meaningful client interaction, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced litigators on high-stakes matters. The ideal candidate will be able to work from our Westlake Village office several days per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of California civil procedure and demonstrated experience handling all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice. Candidates should be confident managing cases with minimal supervision and take ownership of matters from inception through trial.
Key Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in business litigation Strong knowledge of California civil procedure Substantial experience with discovery, depositions, and law and motion Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to independently manage a caseload and thrive in a fast-paced environment Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and strategic thinking
