Job Description

Ling Law Group, APC is a fast-paced, high volume, growing law firm seeking a highly motivated Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience. About the
Role :
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes ownership of cases, thinks strategically, and is comfortable handling matters from inception through resolution. We are looking for someone who is proactive rather than reactive, can confidently handle a substantial case load, is resourceful when faced with challenges, and committed to delivering exceptional results for clients.
Responsibilities:
Manage a high-volume litigation caseload from intake through settlement, trial, or resolution. Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents. Conduct legal research and develop case strategy. Take and defend depositions. Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences. Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnesses. Evaluate liability, damages, and litigation risk. Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution.
Qualifications:
Active member in good standing with the California State Bar. Minimum 3 years of full-time litigation experience. Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to independently manage deadlines and prioritize competing demands. Proven problem-solving skills and sound professional judgment. Comfortable handling a substantial caseload in a fast-paced environment. Experience taking ownership of cases with limited supervision preferred. Trial, arbitration, or deposition experience is a plus.
