This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at client communication, and is committed to maximizing case value prior to litigation. The attorney will be responsible for handling approximately 120 active cases and guiding them from intake through settlement.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of approximately 120 pre-litigation personal injury matters from inception to resolution Conduct case evaluations to determine liability, damages, and settlement strategy Maintain consistent communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers Draft and submit demand packages and negotiate settlements with insurance companies Review medical records, bills, and supporting documentation to build strong claims Ensure timely follow-up on all case developments and maintain accurate case records Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case progression Identify cases that require escalation to litigation and coordinate handoff as needed
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in Colorado (or ability to obtain) 1-5+ years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on pre-litigation preferred Strong negotiation and case management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail Client-focused mindset with a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes
Compensation & Benefits:
