Job Description

Associate Attorney (0-6 years experience) Lyons Gaddis, PC seeks an associate attorney to join our Estate Planning and Probate Group. We welcome candidates with a background in estate planning, probate and trust administration. However, we are willing to mentor and train the right person, including an attorney making a career change to this interesting and rewarding area of law, or a new graduate with a financial or tax background. JOB DETAILS
Meet with clients to develop estate plans. Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts and powers of attorney, and advise clients on all aspects of their planning. Consult with clients following a death to advise and assist them through the estate or trust administration process. Draft documents from open to close of probate and trust administration. Assist with related work which may include tax planning, guardianships and conservatorship, marital agreements, and planning with real estate and business entities Conduct legal research and develop legal strategies. This position is based out of the Longmont office, with regular in-person client meetings.

ATTORNEY PERSONAL AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Work closely with the other attorneys in the group to develop legal knowledge and skills Associate/Shareholder mentor program Firm-paid continuing legal education Involvement in firm retreats Opportunity to work with a variety of practice groups Early exposure to clients and opportunity for direct involvement in advising clients and drafting appropriate documents to meet their needs
Salary Range:
Compensation is merit-based, as required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Our good faith salary range for this position is $97,000 to $132,000, dependent on experience, with an incentive bonus based on productivity which typically ranges from $5,000 to $40,000 or more annually.
