Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented part-time Real Estate Attorney / Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of real estate transactions, legal research, and case management while supporting senior attorneys and clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research skills, excellent writing abilities, and a proactive approach to handling complex legal matters. Responsibilities Assist with real estate transactions including drafting and reviewing contracts, deeds, title documents, and lease agreements. Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw on topics such as estate planning, environmental law, land use regulations, and statutory legal requirements. Support litigation efforts by preparing motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and case summaries for general and commercial litigation cases. Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software; ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Perform detailed due diligence on property titles, zoning laws, and environmental compliance issues relevant to real estate deals. Draft correspondence, legal memos, and reports that clearly communicate complex legal concepts to clients and team members. Collaborate with attorneys on negotiations involving property transactions or dispute resolutions; assist in preparing for hearings or meetings. Skills Strong knowledge of real estate law principles including contract drafting, title review, and lease agreements. Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw; ability to conduct comprehensive statutory research. Experience with estate planning, environmental law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law, personal injury cases, employment law cases, and general & commercial litigation is highly desirable. Excellent writing skills with the ability to prepare clear legal motions, administrative documents, and detailed reports. Skilled in negotiation strategies to facilitate favorable outcomes for clients. Familiarity with procedural law knowledge and legal administrative processes within a busy law office setting. Ability to perform meticulous legal research and analysis; strong attention to detail in document review and case management. Experience with legal case management software; adept at organizing large volumes of case files efficiently.
