Job Description

Our client, a successful law firm, is seeking an attorney to oversee personal injury matters during the pre-litigation phase. This position focuses on assessing claims, developing practical resolution strategies, and guiding clients through each step with care. The role offers the opportunity to combine legal analysis, negotiation skill, and client advocacy in a collaborative, high-volume setting.

Hartford, CTSalary:
$105,000 - $130,000 (depending on experience)
Schedule:
In Office M-FResponsibilities:
Oversee pre-litigation cases from initial intake through final resolution.

Assess liability, damages, medical records, and other supporting evidence to determine case value and strategy.

Develop and execute effective case strategies, prepare comprehensive demand packages, and follow up on carrier responses.

Maintain regular and professional communication with clients throughout the pre-litigation process.

Work closely with insurance adjusters, attorneys, and medical providers to secure favorable outcomes for clients.

Guide clients through legal procedures, timelines, and expectations with clarity and professionalism.

Address client questions and concerns with empathy, responsiveness, and sound judgment.

Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing parties to maximize client recovery.

Analyze settlement offers, counsel clients on available options, and prepare settlement documentation.

Ensure all matters comply with applicable laws, ethical obligations, and firm policies.

Maintain accurate electronic case files and monitor critical deadlines and case milestones.
